Sport Brugger Ski Rental Hochsölden

The pre booked ski hire was a good price and skis were well prepared. However we had brought our own (good condition) boots and Sport Brugger insisted that because they weren’t ‘Grip Walk’ they couldn’t be paired with any of their hire skis. They then try to sell you overpriced boots. All other ski hire professionals have said this advice was incorrect. So don’t use them if you don’t have Grip walk boots. They should make this clear when you book.

The guy helping out with the boards and skis is sarcastic in an unfriendly way, throwing comments like: “if I’m giving you those boots it’s cause that’s your size….”. The bindings were super old and worn out even though I chose the premium package; the board was just ok. It’s a bit less expensive than other rentals in the area but I would never go back!

Very unfriendly service from Benno. The skis themselves were of decent quality, although one pair had an issue with clipping together properly. Unfortunately, the ski boots were of poor quality, which resulted in very painful feet and blisters. Both when picking up and returning the equipment we were helped by the same person, who was very rude and unhelpful. Because of this experience, we will definitely choose a different rental company next time.
