Fitting appointment – analysis, model selection and footbed
During the fitting appointment, everything starts with the precise measurement and analysis of your feet. Shape, volume and pressure zones are captured using a digital scanner, allowing us to create a detailed profile of your foot. Based on this, we jointly select the suitable ski boot shell and craft the custom footbed – the so-called custom insoles – tailored to your skiing style, foot shape and skill level.
After measurement and analysis, we work on the ski boot shell. For this, a pair of wooden lasts is made in our shoe workshop, precisely modelled on the shape of your feet. Using these lasts, the shell is accurately adapted to the needs of your foot. This lays the foundation during the fitting appointment for a ski boot that fits perfectly, offers maximum comfort and enables top performance on the slopes. In the next step, we adjust the inner boot during the fitting session.

Fitting Appointment - Foaming the Inner Boot
During the fitting appointment, the inner boot is perfectly customised to your feet using PU foam. First, sensitive areas of your foot are covered with specially cut pads to prevent pressure points later on. A toe cap is placed over the toes as a placeholder before the foaming process begins.
The foaming is done while standing and takes about 15 minutes. After an additional 10 minutes of curing time, the ski boot can be removed. Over the next 12 hours, the boot fully hardens at room temperature and is ready for use.
The result is a bespoke inner boot that fits precisely to the shape of your foot, offers maximum comfort, ensures optimal support, and allows precise control on the slopes. Foamed inner boots provide a significantly better fit and have a longer lifespan than conventional inner boots.

Our tip: Bring your own ski socks and, if you have them, your previous ski boots to your custom ski boot appointment.
