Skibob
The skibob allows you to ride down the slopes while seated, with short skis strapped to your feet. Its components include a metal frame, handlebars, seat, front and rear skis, and two short foot skis.
Snowbike
The snowbike is very similar to the skibob. You sit on it like on a regular bicycle, making it relatively easy to learn while offering a great deal of fun on the slopes. The snowbike is also steered using two short skis.
Snowblades
These skis are turned up at both the front and back, allowing even less experienced fun-park riders to perform tricks such as jumping and riding backwards. They can also be used off-piste. Snowblades are significantly shorter than regular skis, ranging from 70 cm to 120 cm in length. Modern snowblades are equipped with safety bindings.
Skwal
The Skwal is a single, wide ski with bindings mounted in line. Skwal riding allows for excellent carving. In contrast to snowboarding, the body position when skwaling is symmetrical and forward-facing, similar to skiing. To make it easier at first, ski poles can be used. This piece of sports equipment was invented in France.
