It’s time. The Ski World Cup entourage will once again extend a welcome between 21st and 23rd October in Sölden. The World Cup opening in the Ötztal metropolis has a tradition dating back many years. The greats of Alpine skiing will open the 2016/17 ski season on the Rettenbachferner. On the Saturday the ladies will kick off proceedings with the giant slalom, while on Sunday, the men will compete in the same discipline.
After the exciting racing, celebrations will continue late into the night at the legendary after-show parties in Sölden...
